This konjac sponge is the perfect way to give your skin a deep cleanse. This clever sponge can be used alone with water, or paired with your favourite cleanser for a gentle exfoliation.
Traditionally used in Korea, the konjac sponge is derived from Konjac plant root, meaning that it is a vegan, sustainable and compostable alternative to plastic or sea sponges.

Before use, rinse in warm water until the sponge softens. Once it has softened, gently squeeze out excess moisture and lightly buff over your skin. It can be used with just water, or with a small amount of cleanser.
Allow to air dry naturally between uses, and compost after you've finished with it. Lasts approximately 2-3 months.

Moonie is a lovely small business that is run by a mother and daughter duo. They focus on making eco-friendly products that are affordable, accessible and attainable, and that promote a plastic-free lifestyle.
They want to help consumers make more sustainable choices, and so they make vegan, cruelty-free and plastic-free alternatives to otherwise less environmentally friendly items. There is a real family-vibe about this company, and they hate waste so much that they innovate and see opportunities to make products that others may overlook; they recently added hair scrunchies to their website which are made from the offcuts from some of their other items!
All of their products are handmade in their Dorset studio, and you can tell that a lot of love and thought goes in to what they do.
